When you place an order or contact us, Areum Gift may collect:

  • your email address
  • delivery or pickup details
  • your delivery address, where applicable
  • order details
  • the products and options you select
  • personalisation information, such as names, dates and messages
  • photos and artwork you upload
  • payment status and payment reference information needed to process your order

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • process and fulfil your orders
  • create invoices and receipts
  • communicate with you about your orders
  • process payments through payment providers
  • prepare personalised products
  • provide customer support
  • protect the service and prevent abuse
  • maintain business and transaction records where required

3. Customer Photos and Uploaded Files

  • Photos and files you upload are used only to prepare and fulfil your order.
  • Temporary files may be stored securely in cloud storage.
  • For paid orders, production files may be copied to Areum Gift’s private Google Drive for fulfilment.
  • Your photos and files are not made public.
  • Retention and deletion of uploaded files follow Areum Gift’s operational retention policy.

4. Payments

  • Online payments are processed by external payment providers.
  • Areum Gift does not receive or store your online banking login credentials.
  • Payment status and reference information may be retained for order, receipt and accounting purposes.

5. Service Providers

Limited data may be processed by service providers that are required to operate this website and fulfil orders, such as:

  • payment processing
  • email delivery
  • cloud hosting, database and storage
  • Google Drive, for internal fulfilment storage

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

  • Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for order fulfilment, business records, legal and accounting obligations, and system security.
  • Temporary uploaded files may be removed when they are no longer operationally required.

8. Your Choices

You may contact Areum Gift to ask about your personal information, or to request that it be corrected or deleted where applicable. Some records must be retained by Areum Gift and cannot be deleted on request.

9. Google Drive / Google API Data

  • Google Drive access is used only by the Areum Gift business owner, for internal order fulfilment.
  • The app requests access only to the files and folders it creates or uses through the Google Drive API.
  • Google user data is not sold.
  • Google Drive data is not used for advertising.
  • OAuth credentials are not exposed to customers.

Areum Gift does not access any customer’s Google Drive.
